Not tulips but photos from Amsterdam

The words that will go with these photos will arrive at some point in time but for now the photos will just have to suffice.

Reflections on a wine glass

It pays to pay attention to what is going on around you. Spotted this (and would be so much better if I had filmed it, as the wine legs moving down the glass and interacting with the bright sunlight was mesmerising - ed) whilst having lunch at Bottega Dei Sapori in Alton (aka Tizzy's - ed) last weekend.

Ghostbusters marketing at Waterloo

The Marshmallow Strikes Back is not the name of the latest Ghostbusters movie, but maybe it should be.

Austerity cuts hit the police at Waterloo

Times are tight for the police at Waterloo.

Makes you wonder whether the police officer is making any money from his image rights, as this is not the only copy of this chap that I have seen around London.

Interesting "art" seats on the Southbamk

I am always interested in the public art that is shown on the Southbank.

I have seen people sitting on the seats, they are generally tourists and seem to have a perplexed look on their faces (or maybe I am misinterpreting their looks - ed)

Friday shirt material

For those of you who know me (a small subset of the people who read this blog - ed) you might remember that I wear a "bright" shirt on a Friday - just to make Friday that much more interesting.

When we were in Barbados last year we bought some very "bright" material to make into Friday shirts.

After a lot of searching earlier this year, we finally found a local chap who was prepared to make this material into shirts.

Here is the material that will be made into shirts. There is another material but that has supposedly been turned into a shirt, that I might see tomorrow morning.

If this is a successful shirt, i.e it fits and looks well made, then the above material will also be made into shirts.

Once they are all done, I shall model the shirts and have photos taken, and then share them for your delectation and delight (and possibly for my delight too - ed)

Alton Harvest in few words, but lots of bright photos

It appears that our garden is bearing fruit. Which is rather an odd thing to say, as no fruit as been born. But the tomatores, potatoes, garlic, peppers, runner beans and chillis appear to be coming out in force.

Believe it or not there are photos to prove this.
